Vladivostok, May 08, 2020. – Vladivostok International Airport was included in top 20 the most comfortable airports of Russia. The rating was prepared by financial and economic magazine Forbes.

Vladivostok, May 08, 2020. – Vladivostok International Airport was included in top 20 the most comfortable airports of Russia. The rating was prepared by financial and economic magazine Forbes.

 

The Vladivostok airport took the 16th place in the rating of the most comfortable air harbours of Russia with score 50.2 and left behind the airports of Sochi, Kazan, Tolmachevo airport and other cities. The research covered in total 35 airports with annual passenger flow over 800,000 people.

 

Forbes analyzed the work of air harbours by 18 criteria divided into 6 categories: transport accessibility, route network, airport service, punctuality, waiting for baggage and international awards. The final rating included 20 airports with the highest total score.

 

Year after year, the Vladivostok airport is demonstrating stable growth of passenger flow, increasing frequency of flights and launch of new routes. The air harbour of Primorye is also making consistent efforts to improve the service quality, applied technologies and air terminal activities.

 

It is worth reminding that according to the results of 2019 the air harbour of Primorye moved two levels higher (from 14th to 12th) in the general rating of the Russian airports in terms of passenger flow and became the leader of the aviation industry of the Far East and Eastern Siberia in terms of the number of handled passengers. Also, last year the airport handled 3 mln 80 thousand passengers, which is the all-time record, and showed the best growth rate among the airports of Russia with passenger flow over 2 mln.
