Vladivostok International Airport hosted the fashion show “A journey to Vladivostok”

Vladivostok, February 26, 2021. – Vladivostok International Airport informs about holding the premium fashion show “A journey to Vladivostok”. The event was organized in liaison with Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) and AMS Group and supported by the Administration of Primorsky region.

For the first time in history of the air harbour of Primorye, the passenger terminal has become the venue for an outstanding event in the high fashion sphere – “A journey to Vladivostok”. Just for one evening, the atrium of airport terminal turned into a catwalk for fashion show.
Inspired by major sights of Vladivostok, the leading designers of Primorye showed their collections to visitors and residents of our city. Some of them were Irina Akulina, Lyudmila Goranskaya, Yulia Lopkhan, Olga Narvatova, Mila Koba, Elena Fadeeva, Natalia Lopatkina, Jay brand. Their collections reflected local flavour, character, picturesque nature and individuality of the Far East capital.
The guests of fashion show represented by businessmen, creative professionals, members of mass-media and blogging community started on a journey into the world of exquisite shapes and bright colours.
Inna Klochko, Director of VSUES Institute of Service, Fashion and Design:
- The central idea of the event is to present quite a new view of our favourite city, to combine the city’s fashion and historical stages. In creating their collections, designers were seeking inspiration in the main image-building features of Vladivostok so as to introduce our places of interest to city visitors through images and to help the residents of the Far East capital to discover the familiar places anew. Choice of the event venue is no accident – after all, Vladivostok International Airport is the main air harbour of Primorye and the first to welcome the travellers.
Andrey Vinichenko, Director General of JSC Vladivostok International Airport:
- Our airport has turned into a significant cultural venue for the capital of Primorye. In addition to holding exhibitions, flash mobs and presentations, the air harbour has now become the centre of fashion show. We have all the things needed for this – plenty of well-lit spaces, awesome interior design and friendly staff. We are very glad that our partners have chosen us for holding their event.
During the unusual show, a trivia game with prizes from partners was held. Some young artists worked at the event, and the show guests could receive a designer postcard with a view of the city or a friendly caricature of themselves.
