Vladivostok International Airport won the “Air Gates of Russia” award
Vladivostok, February 08, 2018. – Vladivostok International Airport won the 4th national award “Air Gates of Russia”. The air harbour of Primorye was awarded the second-place diploma in the nomination “Best airport-2017” (in the category “International airport”, up to 4 mln. passengers per year).
On February 07, the high-profile award ceremony was held in Moscow for the participants of the 4th national award “Air Gates of Russia” as a part of the National Airport Infrastructure Show & Civil Aviation NAIS&CA-2018.
Vladivostok Airport participates in the “Air Gates of Russia” award for the 4th time. This year, the air harbour of Primorye came in a good second in the nomination “Best airport-2017” (in the category “International airport”, up to 4 mln. passengers per year).
Airlines were assessed on the basis of criteria reflecting the work of airport terminal and services, quality of servicing passengers and air carriers, operational performance, aviation security, non-aviation revenues of airport, environmental and social responsibility.
Let us remind that the “Air Gates of Russia” award was established by the organizing committee of NAIS, Federal Agency for Air Transport and industry-based web-portal AVIA.RU. This event is organized for the purpose of creating positive image of the airports and their business reputation in the society, as well as identification and promotion of the most effectively and consistently developing airports in the Russian Federation.
