- The air carriers of China are optimistic about Vladivostok and actively explore the possibility of introduction of the new routes to our airport from various regions of China in the near future. To meet the growing demand for tourist trips to Vladivostok, we consider starting the air communication with Chinese cities, such as Nanjing, Hangzhou, Xian, Ningbo, Shenyang, Shanghai, Harbin, Qingdao, Qinhuangdao, Kunming. Vladivostok Airport is making active efforts to stimulate demand for flights from China, to promote Vladivostok in the Chinese tourism market, and to create the most comfortable conditions for arrival of new air carriers to our airport. An essential factor for the development of air communication with China is the availability of electronic visa for the nationals of China flying to our city and absence of any restrictions in terms of commercial rights to air carriage to Vladivostok for Chinese air companies.
As a reminder, today Vladivostok International Airport operates flights to China from the Vladivostok Airport to the cities of Hong Kong, Mudanjiang, Beijing, Sanya, Taipei, Harbin, Changchun, Shanghai and Yanji. The staff of the airport is actively engaged in the expansion of the route network, ranking the Chinese destinations among the most promising ones.
In the 1st quarter of 2019 only, the passenger flow in the routes to the Chinese cities grew by 24%. Creation of new destinations and arrival of new Chinese air carriers will facilitate the tourism and business exchange between two neighbor countries.
