Taiwan is a new tourist attraction for the Russians. Whereas the tourists from Japan and South Korea have been for long enjoying Taiwan as their favourite holiday destination as it provides a high service level combined with reasonable prices. Taipei is a modern metropolitan city with sky scrapers and vivid nightlife, but 20% of the island’s territory is occupied with national parks and reserved areas with unique species of animals and plants. The Taiwanese are proud of the island’s unique ecosystem in which they harmoniously fitted the comfort of the modern civilization.
In year 2018 the visa-free regime was introduced for the Russians travelling to Taiwan. The Russians may stay in Taiwan without any visa for up to 14 days. To enter the island a passport with the validity period of more than six months and a return ticket are required.
Tickets can be purchased via booking offices, online and via mobile applications of airlines. Aviasales.ru, a website helping to search for the tickets, shows the cost of flight on May 24 from 10 thousand rubles for a one-way ticket and from 15 thousand rubles for a roundtrip ticket.
