Vladivostok Airport will switch to winter schedule
On October 26, 2014 “Vladivostok International Airport” will go to the winter schedule, which will be in effect until March 28, 2015.
In the winter navigation season, a new carrier - airline UTair will present a program of regular charter flights to Bangkok, Phuket and Cam Ranh, which will be carried out by a Boeing-757 type aircraft. Philippine Airlines will make charter flights to Kalibo, Philippines with the frequency of 2-3 times a month. In the direction of Vladivostok - Yang Yang (South Korea), weekly flights will be operated by the Yakutia airline with Sukhoi Superjet type aircraft.
The main feature of the winter schedule will be the restoration of the international route network. Compared with the last year winter season the frequency of flights will increase - up to 4 times a week to Tokyo and up to 3 times a week to Beijing. Flights to these cities will be carried out by S7 Airlines and Aurora.
Late December, Vladivostok - Seoul route will be conducted by S7 Airlines once a week with Airbus-320, while Aurora will increase the number of flights to two per day during Christmas holidays with Airbus-319. Thus, the total frequency of Vladivostok - Seoul flights, considering Korean Air and Asiana, will be 3 flights, and in the peak period - 4 flights a day.
In addition, the base carrier is planning to increase the frequency of communication with Hong Kong, Mudanjiang, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and Magadan.
In the new season, flights on the routes will continue that were opened and renewed in the 2014 summer season: to Yanji (China Southern), Vnukovo (Transaero), Chita (IrAero) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan Airways).
Traditionally, international flights to Hong Kong, Busan and Pyongyang and domestic flights to Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, Novosibirsk, Yakutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Khabarovsk, Blagoveshchensk, Irkutsk and Ekaterinburg will be made.
