Vladivostok Airport announces most punctual air carriers
Vladivostok International Airport (JSC “VIA”) resumes publication of its punctuality rating for airlines performing regular flights from the airport.
This rating covers regular passenger flights performed by Russian and foreign airlines from Vladivostok airport. Airlines are grouped into three categories depending on flight frequency:
Group A – within 25 flights per month;
Group B - 26 to 250 flights per month;
Group C – 251+ flights per month.
On-time performance includes all flights departing no later than 15 minutes behind the time specified in the schedule. Any flights delayed due to reasons beyond the airlines’ control are also considered on-time performance. This punctuality rating includes only regular flights and does not cover charter flights.
The following airlines were punctuality leaders in Group A by results of the season “Summer 2016”: Angara Airlines – first place, IrAero and Yakutia – second and third place respectively.
Winners in Group B were S7 Airlines – first place, Aeroflot and Ural Airlines – second and third place respectively.
The leader in Group C was Aurora Airlines who is also an absolute leader of the rating (regardless of categories) by results of the past season.
It should be noted that on-time delivery of passengers to destination is one of key parameters of high-quality services. Flight regularity is one of key priorities for any airlines along with flight safety requirements.
Vladivostok airport plans to inform passengers and industry representatives about the most punctual airlines by results of summer and winter navigation seasons.
