Vladivostok International Airport rendered services in February, 2016 to more than 117 thousand passengers. In comparison with the similar period of the last year the general passenger traffic of this Far Eastern airport grew by 11%.
On the international lines 37 thousand passengers were served, which is 30% more than in February, 2015. The passenger traffic on internal airlines increased by 5% and made 80 thousand people.
The main gain of the international passenger traffic was provided by flights to South Korea and China. Also high growth rates of transportation were shown by flights to Vietnam (+84%), North Korea (+43%) and Uzbekistan.
The passenger traffic growth is caused by the increase in loading on flights to Seoul (South Korea) and Cam Ranh (Vietnam), the increase in frequency of flights to Pyongyang (North Korea) and Busan (South Korea), and also by expansion of the performance period of flights to Harbin and Changchun (China) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan).
Among domestic directions the greatest growth of the passenger traffic is noted on flights to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (+73%) and to Novosibirsk (+57%). The highest dynamics of growth is present on flights to Chita (the growth by more than 4 times).
