Aviation Training Centre Is Opened at Vladivostok International Airport
The new training centre created at the premises of the Vladivostok International Airport has obtained the licence for carrying out educational activities according to further vocational education programmes. The licence is issued by the Department of Education and Science of Primorsky region. The training centre is mainly aimed at maintaining career growth and professional advancement of airport employees. Later, it is planned to train employees of other air enterprises at the centre.
The new centre will have trained about 300 employees of various airport services in 2018. From July 1, employees of the aviation security service will complete training at the centre according to Transport and Radiation Safety programmes. Individual training programmes have also been developed for the Air Transportation Management Service, the Aircraft Ground Handling Service and the Search and Rescue Flight Operations Service.
Galina Mazurova, the Director of the Aviation Training Centre:
“We are going to conduct training of employees according to extended education programmes aimed at professional advancement. Huge work preceded the opening of the centre. Having studied special documents on a consistent basis, we have developed regulatory documents and obtained a licence entitling us to train employees. In future, we plan to train at the centre not only our personnel, but everyone interested from other air companies.”
Special-purpose classrooms with all necessary training equipment were prepared for the centre operation. The airport material and technical basis will be used to conduct practical classes.
Directors and chief specialists of various services of the air harbour who have gained the right of teaching will work at the centre. On completion of a course each student of the centre will receive a certificate proving acquired knowledge and skills.
