An autumn aircraft spotting took place at Vladivostok Airport
Vladivostok, October 16, 2017. Vladivostok International Airport has held a traditional aircraft spotting where aviation photograph lovers met. The autumn photoshoot has gathered about 40 photographers, bloggers and mass-media representatives from different parts of the Far East.
The outstanding feature of this aircraft spotting is that it started early in the morning and lasted until the evening. The photoshoot gathered professionals and amateurs into a one big group to fulfill its collection by unique shots of planes in dawning light and technicolor sunset.
During the whole day the photoshoot participants were at the ramp. Photographers were taking exclusive photos of the aircraft takeoff and landing and the airport operating activities from different angles.
Maxim Maydachenko, a professional photographer, a participant of the Vladivostok airport golden pool:
- We were waiting for this aircraft spotting for a very long time. It is a rare opportunity to take photos of planes in floodlighting and against the background of dawn. This is a very interesting combination. This aircraft spotting presented me a meeting with co-thinkers from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk with whom I had communicated only on special forums before. Thank the airport team for provided opportunities!
A competition organized by a Vladivostok airport partner “Aeroflot” air company was also planned for the event program. The air carrier provided photographers an opportunity to take part in the best cabin attendant photograph competition. The most beautiful girls of the air company posed for spotters at the background of a big grey line aircraft. A strict air company jury will choose the best shot.
Mikhail Rodin, a professional photographer from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk:
- I have been taking aviation photographs for a long time. This is my first time at the aircraft spotting in Vladivostok. I knew about the event from social networks, bought a ticket and here I am. I am very glad to visit the air harbor of Primorye. The airport is big, there are many different airlines and various types of aircraft. My collection of shots has significantly increased. I’ve got very positive impressions!
The event finished in the evening. Photographers were tired but very pleased when leaving the air harbor. It turned to be a very busy shooting day. You can traditionally see the best photo works by the aircraft spotting participants on the website and on official accounts of the airport.
